“Green-Haired Peace Girl” by Harry, age 9, 1999
Your kids shine! And so does their artwork. It’s about self-expression, imagination and creativity. Children are here to explore, express and grow. Their art tells us what they think about, what’s important, and gives us a glimpse into their worlds of real and make-believe. In other words, art is kids at their best!
We want to celebrate your child’s fabulous artistic creations by showcasing them here. It’s easy to do!
Just grab your phone and snap a photo of the latest masterpiece(s) hanging on your fridge, at your office or in your child’s room. Or maybe there’s a favorite piece you’ve saved in a drawer or folder. And if you’re a grandparent, aunt or uncle, surely you’ve been gifted a piece of artwork that’s worthy of Gallery display. Because whether kids are small or grown they love knowing their art is appreciated!
Send your photo to julie@julietarney.com, and I’ll feature it in a future “Art of Becoming” blog post.
