Chocolate lover that I am, today always reminds me of the heart box of chocolates that Harry drew for me at 6yo, wanting so sweetly to give me something I’d like. I laughed with love when I saw it. I’m sure his first grade teacher did, too! Mention of said “diet candy” brings a grin to Harry’s face to this day. The cards stopped in junior high, when Harry declared Valentine’s Day “a Hallmark holiday.” But I’ve kept all of the homemade cards from those early years. And card or no card, we share many moments of heartfelt connection. Harry once sent me an article that said love is not what you think it is. In the terms our bodies experience it, the author described love as a micro-moment of connection shared with another. Simply making eye contact with someone is a micro-moment. And it’s those mini moments that give us a greater capacity for love. For Valentine’s Day and every day after, I wish you lots of love and connection with humanity. 💕❤️💝💌#loveoneanother...
